Not really. The current fastest stock L99 has went 12.8. The best auto C5 vette is the same.

Just checked....world record for the stock C5 is 12.636 @ 111. Not sure about the auto...I had read before that it was 12.8. (it has been a few years since I checked up on either...used to be on ls1tech all the time)

Wow...that is faster than I thought....but still just a bit behind the camaro.

The difference is null...I guess Ill have to apologize and retract my statement (with stock comparisons)....LS3 camaro and C5 vette M6 is virtually dead even. BUT....the camaro has not been on the road very long....some may go a bit faster.

I sold my C5 Vette and bought a 2010 RS/SS Camaro. Although I love my new Camaro, it does not compare to the driving experience and handling of the vette. Actually I am thinking of trading the Camaro in for a C6. VERY hard decision.

as much as I love the camaro and hate to see a camaro owner get rid of his camaro. I wouldn't blame ya for goin for the C6

Sold my barely driven 2007 C6 for my Camaro... best thing I ever did. I did have to make a few changes but with the mods I have done, the power to weight ratio is the same and it handles the same. Only thing you can never match is the way the Corvettes squat at high speeds and beg for more... The Camaro gets hairy around 140ish...

damn what kind of mods do you got on your camaro??? Id love to have my camaro perform like a vette.

It would take 500 crank hp to be about even with a stock ls3 vette in a straight line. It would take extensive brake and suspension mods to take one in the other directions so like what AMPM said, what mods on your Camaro?
