Camaro SS rental?

I was wondering whether there is still a major car rental company that carries the Camaro SS? I know Avis used to have the SS back in 2009 or 2010 but what about now? I’m heading out of town this weekend and thought it would be cool to rent one…

Pretty sure its Avis and Hertz still have them.

Some even have the convertibles.

I'm pretty sure you would have to go to the Airports for them though

I rented an '11 2SS Convertible in May out of Washington DC - Reagan Airport, and I think it was Budget ... but not positive.

I was looking to trade sideways from Premium rental to a convertible, expecting a Sebring (was on vacation). Only verts they had were Camaros, so rented that in order to use the rental as an extended test drive (put about 600 miles on it). Had a ton of fun with it, and it pushed me 3-4 steps closer to buying one, which I did a couple months later.

Also try Enterprise Car Rental, but your best shot with any car rental company will be at the airports. The smaller off airport sites don't seem to have many Camaros.

I rented one from Avis awhile back. Had to go to the airport though. Hertz used to have a special edition SS. Not sure if they have it anymore.

Would depend where you live. Seattle, where I live, I don't think anyone rents the SS. I was in down in the Florida keys a few weeks ago and there were many SS rentals out and about. I think I used Budget (at the Fort Lauderdale airport) and they were out of them when I picked up my rental. Thought about getting a grandpas car, a Corvette, because they had a few sitting. The Camaro SS seemed to be way more popular.

When we were in Phoenix earlier this year Budget Rental had Corvettes, Challenger Hemis, Camaros including SS's for rent.

To be different, I rented a Challenger Hemi. That was a hoot!
