Yea man. I guess the main thing is having more seat time. The last time I went they added that sticky stuff right before me so I thought that I was going to do a bad ass launch. So I revd it up to like 3700 pulled my e brake locked in the diff got ready and pulled the ebrake down and tried to take off. All it did was wheel hop like crazy. Worst I've ever felt it. I honestly thought I broke something. Good thing I didnt

For mine 2500 is the sweet spot. Any more or too much less and it's not pretty

From what I've seen and experienced so far, the stick cars need better axles at some point. Us auto guys not as much, but I did break the spider gears in my diff once I started going 1.47-150 consistently.

Don't throw in the towel just yet. 11's are very possible on street tires, it just takes a very good launch. Not easy with a M6, but with a lot of seat time, you could adjust your technique and find what works best.
How are you launching? Are you bringing up your revs to a certain point and holding it steady and then releasing the clutch?

I dropped a couple tenths and picked up some added consistency by disconnecting my front sway bar, and after doing it the car felt a lot less like it was going to leave parts at the tree during the launch. Then I lowered it........ this did not help the 60

Yea pretty much that's what I do except that I also lock the drivetrain. I want to go try it again but I'm planning on selling the car so now I really don't want to break anything.

Yea merc told me to do that but many people warned me that parts might start breaking because of the better 60'

I cut a 12.43 / 1.99 60' with stock PZERO tires. Launched at 2000 RPMS and slipped the clutch until it grabbed. Learn to launch and you should be able to hit your goal.

Basically all you do is pull the e brake when you are staged up. Rev up to desired rpm and start releasing the clutch to the point where its slipping. You will notice that the car locks in basically like a automatic when you press the brake and gas at the same time. Then on the last yellow light release it normally. There is a guy on here that's running 12.0 with just headers and tires. Its not working for me but I guess it might just be that I need tires

My best time with bolt ons was 12.6@114 with a 1.9 60'. After being cammed I can't get below 2.2 with the best time being 12.3@118
