XM Service

I bought my 2010 in Aug of 2009. At the time XM had a lifetime membership for $399.00. Best Mod I ever did. LOL. Still have the car and still have XM.

Has anyone gotten any better deals lately than the $5 per month for 5 months they are offering? $5 is pretty cheap of course, but I don't daily drive the Z and don't listen all that often.

I've had XM for 10 years with last 2 cars.
Comedy and music are my presets.
I pay 18 now, but occasionally get deals in email.
Once had a rep call me and asked if I worked for GM . I said no, but then she said "are you sure, baby? Cuz I could give you an employee discount. "
That lasted a year and was all channels for 5 a month!

I think I have the "mostly music" package for $10 a month or whatever. Honestly I only use it because they killed off the local jazz station a few years back and there's no replacement. It keeps me from yelling too much at the local traffic.

Eh, you like what you like. I'm down with anything that isn't death metal or rap.

Is that $399.00 price still current for the lifetime membership?

I just cant justify any price for XM. I can connect my phone through streaming services and listen to the exact song I want to at any time. I can make playlists even. The only benefit I see of XM over streaming services would be when I go out of cell reception.

Nope, it was in 2009. I haven't paid a penny more since.

I’ve been paying $5/month for 7 years. I just threaten to cancel my service every 6 months and they give me another 6 months for $5/month. Lol

Just got 12 months for $60. Yeah, it's five a month, but it's one less phone call to renew

Seems $5 is the number. It's what I'm getting in the mail all the time. Just odd my buddy got a 6 month $18 offer. The phone call is annoying to make every six months and playing the game.
