but the biggest it allows is a 4.30, not a 4.56 or any of the other even bigger gears. It does look way stronger than the stock diff though, but its still IRS.

Yea, the S60 looks pretty tough. I forget who's rear end it is, maybe the Hammerhead, but it has a 4.56 option. The are all so insanely expensive.

I've never considered a solid axle setup - I'm just not ever planning on making the kind of power that would warrant such a piece. I'd like to keep the car multipurpose enough to be a drag racer, but still rides nice and does the twisties well.
