% Rain
At what % would you not leave your top down during the day.
Living in GA we have about a 10% every day. |

I wouldn't trust the forecast, in Florida they are wrong all the time!! Today was only a 5% chance of rain but the roads were wet this morning.

Only leave the top down when I'm at a restaurant/bar and can see the car at all times. My only gripe is the motor is so dang slow!

Too bad they did not incorporate a better top system for the 5th gen. I like the top on the 6th gen, all done by remote, pretty sweet. Not enough for me to jump to the 6th though.

Being up here in Minnesota we never really get the pop up storms like Florida and other parts of the country. I just look at the radar before I head out. If there is rain, I take my DD, if nothing on Radar within 100 miles I will go on my cruise. If I am going to take it to work, I make sure there is no chance of rain. In the 5th summer I have had my 2012, it has only been misted on once out in the wild. Otherwise, never been touched by a raindrop. Only water it sees is softwater out of my hose to be washed.

I go from my garage to the garage at work. Only ever had to put the top up once, mostly because I had sunburnt my nose... Need sunscreen I suppose.
Put the top up if it's going to sit outside unattended. Leather is expensive.

That's why Jeeps are nice. I just leave the top off. I drove it many times in the rain. A new camaro? I would have the top up unless it was just a quick in an out or I was with it.

Driving 100% - Parking 0%. I drive in the rain once in a while. it is not that big of a deal as long as you keep moving and it isn't raining too heavy. I wouldn't let it sit in the rain though. That could end bad if water starts soaking into the electronic parts.
