Magnuson tvs2300 on my 2010 ss
Hi guys
Ive got a 2010 ss camaro. Its had cams installed, air intake, tuned and full exhaust installed. Ive just installed a magnuson tvs2300 and running on 8lb. Can i go higher with a stock block? Getting 404kw at the rear at the moment |

404 kilowatts? I'm pretty sure the stock block can go up to 1.21 jigawatts.
Seriously though. I believe I've seen that the stock block is good to around 700-800rwhp (not sure what that converts to in kw) but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Also, welcome to the board! Got any pics of your car?

easily can run at a higher psi....if your fuel system can take it. now, even at 8lbs, your rear diff might not last long if your running stickies and doing runs from a stop.

Usually you don't want to go to far past 10psi on a roots style blower. Anything past that gets difficult to tune and pretty dangerous. Since they make boost instantly you will run into knock right off that bat depending on the fuel you guys have out there.
404kw is about 541hp so that seems a bit low for a cammed and supercharged LS3. We just had a L99 make 618rwhp with a Whipple (stock 4" pulley) and a cam and our dyno reads pretty low. |

I'm at 448rwkw on an L99 with LS3 valve train conversion using a Harrop 1900, no problems in 2 1/2 years. |

By stock block I might read into that you mean stock short block? Pistons can be a concern as boost levels go high. I think people have had reasonable reliability at 8psi. Don't know about that after you go 12 or more.
