Tire Sizing for best performance?

I’m getting new wheels to start off for my 14 Camaro SS, the wheels are 20x10 front and 20x11 rear. My question is what tire size is the best for traditional street use and racing around town and highway. My car currently has 275s on all the wheels and I know the Stock 2SS usually has bigger rears (275) and smaller front (245). Would staying 275 in the front and going 285-305 in the rear be the best for performance? Thanks.

285/35/ZR20 is a good square setup. And is what the 1LE comes stock with. The only reason to go to a wider rear like a 305 is a lot more power.

A 315/35 would exactly match the OD of the 275/40 and will fit an 11" wheel.
