No, which was crazy too! Police officer told me that since my vehicle wasn't traveling more than 35 mph that the bags wouldn't deploy.

Eh...I don't know how much truth in that there is. If I was going 30 MPH and some jerkoff ran into me going 60 I'd sure hope my air bags went off.

it'll be fine, just a lot of cosmetic damage. they're designed to break apart like that to absorb the impact. and take comfort in the fact that at least the other driver is probably sweating bullets. right now she's probably saying over and over to herself "of all the cars on the road why did I have to hit an expensive convertible sportscar"

I had a minor front end collision in a base F150 with the black front end. I asked the body shop what the difference would be for the chrome grill/painted front end and the difference between parts was only 200 and change so I went for it! Best mod I ever did.
