Ok friends I just embarrassed myself. I was at a dead stop and dumped the clutch at around 4000 rpm and it stuck half way up. This was the second time it has happens. Can any one tell me what needs to be done to did this?

A weak point in the Camaro Manual transmission is also a bearing support you don't want going out that is made of plastic..Monster makes a replacement for the stock slave on the Camaros M-6, hopefully its just poor performance of the fluid dragging the fluid until its sticky and full of the contaminants from the clutch having much less fluid and increased heat along with it being part of a clutch with dust. Only you know if the clutch has been hammered and is due to slip or if its just a sticky pedal syndrome which may be a TSB if you look online but for me I know I am glad I separate my clutch fluid now and it keeps the brake fluid in much better shape and definitely the clutch reservoir now with a syringe and bleeder also, I change it every couple thousand miles as it gets dirty, if alone just changing the fluid , repeatedly pumping then re-changing of the fluid does well to flush out the line.

if you ever do the clutch install one of these its cheap insurance compared to what happens other wise a melted bearing support/slave damage could happen in hot conditions if someone say...rode the clutch.... IMO I saw a few posts long ago and decided its a no brainer to avoid a melt down and helps the stock slave survive and be functional just fine if paired up with clutch compatible to use the slave. One reason I went with the Lt1s twin disc; it used my stock slave and feels like stock.

A double reservoir will not solve your issue.

A bigger return spring as per the tsb might very well solve your issue.

Your fluid should be clean, flushed/refilled, regardless of.

If none of that works, then you are heading into the worst case scenario zone. In that case, search Cornerspeed's thread. It's in the 1LE section or Road Race section, I forget which.

Lol. That would fix the sticky clutch but I will stay with the manual.
