Yes it is true.
With different wheel diameters, the differential works to compensate for different peripheral speeds and thus heats up.

Perfect!
..but Audi does not have the same pitch as the Camaro.
Or does the spacer pad have a changed pitch?

There is no need for spacers and it will fit through the Brembo brakes.

didn't see what year it was off of or the size. Is it a 20? thanks.

I'm not entirely sure, but at 99% I think it's this ...

https://bimmerzone.com/products/bmw-...ncy-spare-tire

No no .. it's 18 "
20 "wouldn't fit in there.

To be on the safe side, contact the seller and make sure it is 18"

Otherwise, if you want, I'll go look in the garage for the exact size of the tire. I think there were 2 dimensions.

It won’t cause excessive wear if used correctly which is slap it on. Drive it to the nearest tire shop. Not use the damn thing as a regular tire like many idiots do because they can’t afford a tire.

Brakes/Tires

I was wondering what kind of brakes, y'all are using on a 5th Gen Camaro??? My son has a 2011 RS/LT V6, and he needs new brakes and rotors all around. He needs tires also and has the factory 20 inch rims. What kind of tires are y'all using. We live in Texas so don't really need tires for bad weather except rain. I appreciate any and all help and I'm sorry if asking a question that has been posted before.

I will take a look. But it's definitely not 19".
I think it's 135/80 R18. But I will confirm it to you.
