Bright Idea!!!
If I replace my DRL's with LED's is there any risk of them getting too hot? Are there different watts or sizes I should look for? I would like to get them at a local parts store, instead of mail order. I drive a 2012 SS.

LED are cooler than factory bulbs, pretty much everyone here already did that, I don't think you'll find a A+ quality LED bulb on local store (then I can be wrong) Here's a lot of sponsors that have them...
PS: I might be wrong but SS has fog lights not drl...

I changed them out w/ a couple LED's from Ofer/Gen5DYI.com. Love the look & zero problems.

The lower lights are only DRLs if you have the RS package. I have fog lights on my SS.
