Looking to purchase a 1LE, have to wait

Could anyone help me find one? I checked the classifieds, and nobody seems to be posting anything about selling 1LEs anywhere. Just so everyone knows, I'm looking for a 2013 1LE w/ 1SS or 2SS for no more than $31,000. Really, it doesn't matter what options it has as long as it fits the price range, has well under 20,000 miles...and isn't yellow. No hate, but I just don't want the yellow. Otherwise, here is my "order of importance" as far as colors go:

1. CRT (love it)
2. Black
3. Summit White
4. Ashen Gray Met.
5. Victory Red
6. Blue Ray Met.
7. IOM
8. Silver Ice Met
9. Rally Yellow

I guess I'm just too young to respect the heritage of Rally Yellow...

I am thinking $31K is a little light....I bet if you could up it to $35K you would have a better chance.

I got my 2013 1SS/1LE for $33,995. Had 1,700 miles on the clock, and Katzins leather interior and Borla exhaust. Bought it from a GMC dealership. This was about 4 months ago.

So, I think with a little shopping, you can find a 1SS/1LE for your price. It's a stretch, but doable.

I don't think you can find what you're looking for at 31k. There just isn't a reason why someone would sell it for that. If someone was willing to sell it for 31k I'd buy it and flip it for a couple grand. I don't think you're drastically low.

But just think about the negotiation process to end on the 31k number. Someone has it listed for 34k and then you offer what...29k? I wouldn't even respond.

I would also highly suggest prioritizing your guideline to something other than "anything under 31k"

1ss/2ss, npp, nav, rs, moonroof/ no moonroof are all something you may want to give some serious thought.

It's going to be much cheaper to buy what you want from the start than it is to try and make the car what you want.

Would it still be ludicrous to be looking for a 1LE at 31 around next spring? That is indeed when I will most likely be purchasing..

Unfortunately I am not simply walking up to a vendor and handing in the cash, so 31 is pushing MY budget. I'm a college freshman, so naturally my parents will be putting down a share as well as me. I figured that if both parties put down $10K (ridiculous, right?), the payment would be around $330/month, which is agreeable to mis padres.

On the bright side, it is possible for me to find a good job this summer and add one or two more K's to the down payment. That's optimal though.

I know what I would like, and I'm determined about it. Determined and possible may not go together in this situation, though...

Keep shooting your thoughts/advice. I really appreciate it, everyone!

also, Mojave, the ebay listing was removed (I saw it the other day and checked again tonight) and the autotrader link was busted:/ I appreciate the help, though.

$31,000 is definitely light figure base price of the 1LE is what? $37,XXX? That's for a 1SS obviously with no other options. I would imagine dealers would offer more than 31k on trade for one of those with "well under 20k miles"... Like it was previously posted. $35,000 would give you a much better chance at finding what you're looking for. Just my .02

Also how long do you plan on financing the car? If you put $20,000 down total and only finance you should be able to end up below $300/month (depending on your interest rate of course). I financed $21,000 on my last car for 5 years and ended up around $330/month.

31? unlikely for any 1le. and certainly not for a 2ss. ill sell you my 2014 for its sticker, with the mods I have. and im test drive distance away

regardless, i would recommend going after a 2ss/rs 1le. dont get such a new, beautiful car and sell yourself short on the comfort mods. I PROMISE you'll spend the money upgrading the tail lights/headlights/HIDs/leather interior/sound system/heads up display and end up spending more than a 2ss would have cost you, that has all those features stock. just my 2 cents, and the reason i checked all options off. I bought a 2007 LT tahoe (in 2009) and spent money modifying it, only to sell it and buy a 2007 Escalade, because every modification i planned on the tahoe, was stock on the escalade. same concept applies

Planning on financing for around 3 years. I don't want to sound like a prick or anything, but my parents are footing a lot of the bill, and they aren't the type to finance for TOO long.

You think 31 would still be to much in 2015?

In 2015 if you can find a '13 1SS 1LE bare bones that has well under 20k miles you may be able to get it for $31k

maybe. unfortunately barebones 1les are tough to find. but ive traveled over 25 hours round trip to buy cars for the right price, so im sure you can find one soon for that much, if youre willing to buy sight unseen, fly out and drive home. ive done a few times, never been screwed yet
