Help me select a complete exhaust system

I'm currently in the middle of an engine swap. My 87 IROC will soon be back on the road with an LS3. I'd like to get as much HP out of it, and it sound great. It won't be daily driven or a race car however. More of a toy, show car, Friday night cruiser.

The LS3 has
- ported LS3 heads 374 cfm
- Speed engineering long tubes
- TSP stage 3 cam 231/246 .640/.615 111 LSA
- FSTX intake

Exact same build made 540 RWHP

Dual 2.5s? Or 3s?
Bullet mufflers? X pipe? Muffler brand?

I've spent entirely way too much time listening to YouTube videos and can't decide . Spintech 9000s are on it now but not with a true dual system. I don't want a drone loaded system.

Thanks in advance.

If you want great volume/sound with no highway drone, I'll suggest Corsa Extreme 3" system.

I am running the Corsa Extreme 3" system with Speed Engineering long tubes.
They are loud, 108db+ at WOT loud, but they do not drone at all.
Around town, it rumbles and barks with plenty of bangs and pops on decel. I love it.
If you get on it, everyone in a mile radius will know. That could be a drawback to some.

My local track has a sound limit, so I had to get a set of Borla resonators that I will have welded in to pull the volume back a bit. That is a problem more specific to me and not the fault of the exhaust.

Cat back or true duals? 2.5 or 3?

Your limitation is going to be what actually fits in the engine bay. I don't recall there being many good options for a 3rd gen without modifications. And now that you are stuffing an LS3 in there, it's likely to be a real struggle. You will likely end up needing something custom.

As most people reading this are going to assume you have a 5th gen, of which there are numerous options.

I appreciate the reply, but there's tons of 3rd gens out there with LS3s under the hood. Stock hood, long tubes, true duals and the works without cutting up the car. I post on a third gen specific website/forum but the traffic is a fraction of what y'all get here.

I read the exhaust sticky but its mostly comprised of cat backs which I'm not interested in

I had 3 third gens in my life and had longtubes with 2 1/2" true duals. I had the exhaust fabricated from a local shop and they just ran it from the longtubes straight back with mufflers right before the axle and then had it dumped after the axle. It worked out great for me because I was always switching out engines and stuff and it was so simple to take off and put back on I would do it again if I ever had another third gen. The only draw back of coarse was that it was aluminized steel.
