You have about as much luck as I do. I just got a door ding fixed and now my roof is scratched.

Mine has never been keyed though... knock on wood.

Have you frequented car wash's , I have seen car wash's do that to a roof .

Touchless, yes, all winter long because that does the undercarriage too. But a car wash that...that...that touches the car? Oh lordy, heavens no.

On second and closer examination...as I buffed it today...something was placed on the roof and then pulled off. Could only have been done at one place. I have it about 85% removed, another go-round and it will be invisible.

I had the same scratches on my roof and after a while I realized that cats were using my car as a platform to jump from fence to fence

perfectly parallel scratches 18" long with scuff marks between them?

Some rigid object was placed on my roof, rotated, and then pulled off.
