My comments that you posted were also regarding doing burnoffs on public roads (as opposed to parking lots), where you lose traction, can EASILY lose control and hit other cars.

I understand the situation too well... I've been there as well, just had to toss that out there... It amazes me how goofy people get when they see these and other muscle cars... I think it's worse for us Camaro owners right now as the cars are still so new... I had the exact same thing happen to me a week or so back while my wife was in the car... I accelerated to pass, turd bucket did the same, I slowed down, so did he, so I hammered it just long enough for him to do the same and then jumped on the binders as he flew past me I pulled in behind him and took the exit I needed... My wife was like WTF... I explaind that even knuckleheads in old beater pick-ups need to prove their virility... I just wish they would pick on other vehicles...

Ya they are decent. The show is another story... watched about 3 minutes of it and that's 3 minutes I'll never get back.
