removing front license plate bracket?
My newly-purchased 2011 2LT RS has a GM front license plate bracket. Georgia does not require a front plate, so normally I remove the front bracket from my vehicles. Unfortunately, this one is screwed through the front fascia, so removing it leave some ugly holes. Aside from replacing the front fascia, any clever ideas about how to remove the bracket and have a nice-looking front end?
Worst-case scenario, I'll do a bowtie delete on the grill and get a front plate with a Camaro or bowtie logo, but would prefer to get rid of the plate bracket if possible.

You can purchase bumper plugs at bumperplugs.com to fill in the holes. They're even painted to match your paint color. I bought some for my Mercedes.
PS : Usually, the paint scratches created by the plate frame over time look much worse than the 2 ugly holes. |

Thanks! I'll take a look at the fascia and see if the bracket "shadow" has screwed up the paint, and then decide what I will do.
