Driving modes

Whats the difference between "Everything OFF" mode and "Competitive" mode ? Both turn off traction control, stabilitrack and make the steering tighter. Same icons showing on the tach also. Only difference is Competitive mode actually shows Competitive mode on the screen for a few seconds when first engaged.

It's my understanding, competitive mode still has stabilitrak on, it's just a lesser nanny. Whereas holding the button turns it all off.

Double-tap the traction off button. Might not be there on your LT.

In "Competitive Mode", everything is not off, but is much less intrusive. "Everything Off" is, well you get it!

Does anything happen to the steering in any of these modes? I didn't see steering mentioned anywhere but I wanted to confirm in case it was undocumented.

Ok on my 1LS will turning things off change the way the M6 shifts? With everything on it seems sluggish between the gears.

No, it's just a crappy trans. The AY6 isn't the best.
