Stabilitra c keeps the car "stable", or going in the direction you want. It won't (or shouldn't) let you spin out. Competitive mode allows for a little more slip so the car "feels" racier.

Btw, this is your friend

A little self reliance is always nice.

competitive mode is just reduced power loss. it lets you slip more but it will still grab

stabillitrac engages the brake on the outside rear tire when you start to slide.

Actually, "Competitive Mode" is also known as Launch Control.

It doesn't reduce the power, as much as try to manage that power to avoid wheel spin during hard launches such as at the 1/4 mile track.

no launch mode is an aspect of competitive mode, you can put the car in competitive mode and drive around a track faster than in standard mode.
what i meant was in standard mode when the wheel spins it reduces your throttle(power) by 75 percent, and in competitive mode it reduces your throttle by 50 percent. it will allow the car to get more squirmy before it engages also. but stabillitrac is untouched and still completely active
