No love for the V8's on Chevy's website?

Why is it that when you go to the main Chevy website located here: http://www.chevrolet.com/

And then click on the performance tab at the top there is no V8 Camaros listed as a option?

I see the V6, Z/28 & ZL1 only...

No love for the V8 under the performance tab?

Am I missing something?

There are three things:

The Camaro, the Camaro ZL1 and the Camaro Z2/8.

The SS is a Camaro option. The "SS" is a "package," and it is a very common package. When you select a "Camaro," you are given a base model, and the V6 is standard. When you upgrade to the "SS package," you get the V8. The ZL1 and Z2/8's are entirely different cars and produced in far, far fewer numbers. They are very different from just an engine upgrade package.

The ZL1 and Z2/8's are also both V8's. Not sure what the problem is?

It's no big deal...I just think it's weird that you have to start with the V6 and then select 1SS or 2SS to get a bump to the V8's....

I think USA/Canada is the only place to get a V6.

I believe in Europe and around the world the Camaro is ONLY sold as a V8.

I know this will add fire to the V8 verus V6 debate.

I see...I just think it's weird how the main site list the V6 first...the V6 is a great car as I owned one but you'd think the V8 would be listed right between the V6 and Z/28?

Maybe I'm just over analyzing this. lol
