More horsepower need more tire?

You guys running 550rwhp have any luck with the Goodyear or Michelin for street/ light track use? Would like to get some power to the ground in 1st and 2nd gear.. thx

Mickey thompson drag radials work very well on the street and strip for me and I'm 600 plus at rear.

Since this is the z section I'm guessing you mean a road coarse when you say track. If that's the case. Either the sportcup2 or the good year 3r will hold 550whp when warm. The issue is getting them warm. On the street they never will be. Re71r will get you 90% of the traction of the comp r and a much faster warm up time.
