12-15 2 piece rotor options?

I've done some research, but not finding a clear answer. Is there any other option besides OE AC Delco 2 piece rotors? OE part # 177-1146 and 177-1145.

I saw StopTech 126-62119CSR is a 2 piece rotor and says it will fit ZL1? Image added below.

That Stoptech # is coming up cryo treated one piece for the rear.
Cost vs quality, the OE 2 piece rotor is hard to beat. They are Brembo rotors and are high quality. If you are looking for looks (drilled/slotted) there are very few 2 piece options.

Here are other options but big money:
https://knsbrakes.com/c/car-series/1...-+Single+Rotor

https://knsbrakes.com/c/car-series/1...+Rotors+-+PAIR

You can also run a C7 Corvette ZO6 (non CCB) rotor ring from DBA. You take the OE ZL1 hat and use it on the DBA ring.
The Gen 6 SS 1LE and Gen 5 ZL1 share the same Brembo set up EXCEPT the hat offset is different. That is why we must reuse the OE Gen5 ZL1 hat.

Ken @ knsbrakes.com can hook you up.

You’re always on here helping me huh? Thanks man! Those RB brakes are like $2300? I’ll stick with OE. I suppose Brembo will suffice. Lol

Hmm I’ll stick with OE I guess. They seem pretty good. Just wasn’t sure if that was a good bang for my buck.

Yes, the Brembos are very good. I've tracked with them and they handle that stress very well. If you are patient, the price varies on amazon and rockauto.com. Put them in your amazon list and get the Honey app to watch the price.

Go to Rock Auto they have OEM rotors and the tires then they have actual Brembro rotors and they are significantly cheaper.

Stupid question, can we do anything to treat the rust on the center section?

Wish I woulda saw that! I just ended up getting online. I paid $579.95 w/ free shipping but had to pay taxes. So it was like $630 ish. Rock auto had them for $585 after shipping. But I don’t think sales tax. if they have sales tax too, then I made out about the same if not a few bucks cheaper.

I hear there’s a black coating they can apply. But you have to do that from the get go. Steel wool / wire brush will take it off and you can tape off brakes and spray the center parts.

From my brief internet searches, seems like it would. I clean mine regularly so I may invest in some! Or use a high heat wax spray I have laying down. My car doesn't really see rain. Just water hose and foam cannon LOL

New option, Brembo (non-GM sourced) 2 piece

I found this on Rockauto.com.

Brembo now has their own aftermarket 2 piece ZL1 rotors. They look identical to their same 2 piece rotors they supply GM with.

I have purchased them and they have the same vent design, vane count and the same hat and fasteners The finish looks the same.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...hub,rotor,1896

BREMBO #09A66513 Left
BREMBO #09A66523 Right

Prices sometimes change on RockAuto, but they are currently about $170 each, compared to the GM sourced Brembos at about $290

It is possible that the cast iron is different, but everything else looks to be the same. As I mentioned, I have purchased a pair . I track my '14 1LE with the 6 piston front brakes and have no reservations with using these on track. They very well could be 100% identical but without the GM price surcharge.

Thanks for the heads up. Just grabbed some for $302. Still quite a bit less than most places list them.
