If the Alpha platform is for performance oriented cars, why did they use the MacPherson strut instead of SLA front suspension like the Corvette?

What all is included in the All-Terrain package? Also, is the ridiculously low airdam removable? I can see it lasting, oh, 2.5 seconds off-road.

I'm sure its removable. But I'm sure its there and so low for better FE. If you don't like it...yank it off

Canyon is offered in base, SLE and SLT models, in 2WD and 4WD models, and with an aggressively styled All-Terrain package offered on SLE models. It includes 17-inch painted aluminum wheels covered by all-terrain tires, a body-color grille surround with horizontal chrome bars and specific suspension tuning.
And the air dam is easily removable on Colorado and Canyon. In fact GM kind of made it a point to mention it to the press when they were revealed.

very good. I take it this would include skid plates also? I am really likeing these trucks and actually starting to lean towards the Canyon when I originally liked the Colorado better.
