ZL1 with coilovers ??
Has anyone switched from the mag ride to a coilover set up? If so, please share.

Why the heck would you ruin a perfectly balanced package from the factory?

Isn't mag ride the best though?

No, mag ride is not the best for all out handling, but it is really hard to beat if you're going to drive on the street and be a weekend warrior.

I've kicked the idea around that if I keep my 14' ZL1, I'll put it on an air ride system for that slammed look.
See what I mean....this is some badass sh!t right here. https://www.airliftperformance.com/v...vrolet-camaro/ |

Sometimes I think people are very good at convincing themselves of what they want to believe. When I drive my Z on a mildly bumpy road, there is nothing pleasant about it. The mag ride seems to over adjust for every bug in the road. The only time I enjoy the ride is if the road has no bumps in it. So far from what I can see, mag ride is an expensive hype package that R&D needs to work on. I will most certainly go to coil overs if the stock suspension needs to be replaced.

Z/28s do not have mag ride. They have DSSV shocks.
