michael's maro,

I sent them all a message to see if they would like to join. I am really getting excited as we seem to be getting a good response. I will talk to my buddy Patrick and see how many folks he has from his side (he has a Z06 and belongs to a couple vette forums). I will keep you posted.

All,

Open track day Carolinamotorsportspark, Kershaw South Carolina June 26,27

This does look like a blast. How many of you are going? If there's a good turnout I can see if Patrick and I can come and meet you. I would love to pass some of our club ideas around and get some folks excited about a local club.

So I am trying to come up with a cool name for the club (The domain name has to be available for us to use) so if you have a good name please post it here. I want something simple to use for the logo as well.

jonm38,

When are you going to be down? There seems to be quite a few Camaro folks in the area maybe we can meet up?

It's good to see all the interest and the other C5er's from SC. Camaros are still a pretty rare site here in the upstate.

Parker70,

I agree. I was not sure I would get much interest but am pleasantly surprised. How far are you from Lexington, or Columbia?

Just an idea to throw out for the SC Camaro's.
Do a 'Zoo Cruise' to Riverbanks.
Maybe eat at Maurice's BBQ before heading to the zoo.

Tom,

I like that. Fun for the entire family. That may be our first trip out as a club. Keep these kinds of ideas coming.

I'm right off I-26 near Spartanburg, so anywhere from 75-90 minutes away.

You had me until the Maurice's. I'm a vinegar based BBQ man, but that's a another thread entirely.

Parker70,

Good so your close enough to attend events we may have in Columbia. I also would like to have some club events outside of Columbia as well.
