Johnson has more than one lifter. Give them a call and go over your combo with them. They are extremely nice and knowledgeable and will give you a recommendation based on your combo. I went with their 2116LSR lifters and so far, so good.

Have ran Morel Race Bar Links for last 3 years. Not cheap. No Issues.

Trunnion Upgrade

If your looking for added insurance then I suggest replacing your rocker trunnion bearings. The stock bearings are known to fail especially with an aftermarket cam with high lift.

Be careful if you go with any aftermarket lifter. I doubt BTR had them in mind when they sold you those pushrods. I'm guessing you have a set of 7.40's??

10k miles on Morel 5315 spinning to almost 6800 in my last setup. Put 10 nitrous bottles through it too. Also missed a gear a time or 2 because of my messed up blocker rings on my old transmission and had the rpms shoot up well past 7k. Never missed a beat.

And they were only $200

Johnson 2110, 2110R and 2116LSR lifters. They will out do the LS7 lifters any day of the week!

More like be careful if you don't go aftermarket. Have seen too many GM lifters fail.

I have a btr stage 2 cam with comp lifters and the shop installed 7.40. Found this when I opened it up. Now I'm just putting in Ls7. They are more forgiving also.

Exactly what I used link bar lifters, fantastic. I couldn't use factory lifter trays with an aftermarket block. Just remember you will have to re-measure pushrods with different lifters.
