What rear diff are you guys running?

I'm making 672whp with a m6 tranny.
Blew my stock diff
Built a new diff with Eaton true track and Richmond 3.73's and blew that... Thought it must have been an error when it was built so I did the same thing and built another eaton with richmond gears... Now my diff is on its way out again.... I've never heard of some one going through this many diffs...
I'd love to do the 9" conversion but I don't have the money for that.
What do you guys recomend?

Also never been to the track. I'm running 315/20 Nitto NT05R tires and also once in a while put my 17 inch welds with 305 Mickey Thompson street R tires

And I have 1000hp dss axles, 1000hp driveshaft

I think that is the only option you have is going 9 inch. The beefy axles and higher count splines will not fit the stock diff. You can put all the strong stuff inside the case but the shock load will blow the diff apart in the long run.

Look into ZL1 differentials. There's a member on here who is purchasing totaled ZL1's and parting them out. Very reasonable pricing for a 3.73 or 3.23 w/ minimal miles.

You can discuss the 9.9" cast iron differential strength w/ the ZL1 guys. The general consensus seems to be that it's one hell of a strong beast.

Here is one of a few threads started by the member I referred too. For that money, I don't know why you would go any other route.

3.73 ZL1 has held for me. Trying a 3.23 to reduce the spinning off the line.

Zl1 here.

Especially a M6 car, I think you need an upgrade.

DSS 9"
G Force 9"
Stange D60

Running stocker with LPE 3.71 and a JRE Posi mod..... pretty sure its not going to hold for long once my build is complete in the 800 rwhp zone. I will definitely look into the ZL1 rear end if its a cheaper option than say the DSS conversion.

ZL1 diff here. 323 gears. Dont make a whole lot of sense if you're not drag racing it.....Should have been fine on the stock rear honestly. Are you abusing the rear?

I've been looking hard at driveline lately too. It seems that the ZL1 diff kit is tough to beat. $4k and includes everything to bolt in. The others are like $6500-$7000.
