Mod Day has been set as Sat 05/07/2011

If you are interested in attending, please either post in this thread or send me a private message with the mods you would like help with.

Spring mod day & car show at the Heinz place in Jamestown, OH is now scheduled for 05/07/2011. Format will be a little different from last year as I hope we have less intense mods, more time for socializing and showing off our mods, and a short Camaro-van to a restaurant for dinner.

Car Show - Since a lot of cars already have a number of mods, I think a car show is in order to show off all your mods. Please list your mods and display the list with your car.

Mods must be approved by me and may include:
- fluid changes
- bulb installs
- shifter installs
- skip-shifter eliminator installs
- CAI installs
- brake pad installs
- underside cleaning

Tools available:
- four-post lift with bridge jack for lifting one end of car off its wheels
- jacks & jack stands
- common hand tools

Food: (Updated 3/6)
- Water & ice will be available (You bring other drinks you want)
- Breakfast @ 9 - I will provide coffee & breakfast sandwiches
- Lunch @ 12 - Homemade ice cream, fruit and whatever snacks you want to bring
- Dinner @ 5 - Pizza

Attendees Should Bring:
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Parts and instructions for anything to be installed
- Special tools that may be needed for installation (unless you've confirmed such tools will be available)
- Drinks (non-alcoholic)
- Optional - Chairs (and maybe a table) since limited seating will be available

Tentative Attendees:
Name: ModDay_2011_05_02.jpg
Views: 586
Size: 277.6 KB

There are a lot more Camaros out there now and if a lot of people want to attend, I might decide to stop at 30 Camaros since this is a personal residence and I'm afraid we cannot really handle a larger group.

Past Mod Days:
- March 2010
- March 2010 Pictures
- May 2010

I plan on attending pretty much any date that is selected. I can help others with mods they may have. If you would like me to bring anything like food, water, pop, anything along those lines please let me know.

I'm good for any day as well, and can help with anything. If I have any mods it will be fluid changes.

The only mod I may do is that clutch resivior. I'd need to get a bottle or two of fluid from MTi first. I'll see if I can come up with anything else.

I am good with all these days. I voted for most of them but noticed I didnt vote for the 22/28/29 of May.

My schedule is free all those days so. Keep me in the loop!

I'm thinking if everyone brings whatever they like to drink and snack on, that may be enough. I'll provide coffee in the morning and bottled water & ice.

Last time we had too much food between all the donuts, Subway sandwiches and pizza. I'm thinking we only need two meals and maybe a snack. I might cut out the Subway for lunch and instead arrange for sausage/ham biscuits for breakfast then have various small snacks (fruit, chips) for lunch.

My upcoming mod are: catch can, clutch fluid reservoir, and maybe a barton shifter. I have the clutch reservoir, and catch can should be here next week. Need to pick up the plug & fluid for the reservoir and maybe fab a bracket. Still debating the barton.

Saturdays are better for me.

Just noticed that 4/9 is a Saturday. That's my anniversary, so not sure my wife would want to spend that day amidst grease & oil.

A new bracket really isn't necessary. I mounted mine on the bracket that the battery terminal is attached to.

Yeah, but I saw a couple with brackets and liked the look a little better. I'm not a fabricator, so I'll have to see how it turns out first and then I'll decide how to mount it.

Yeah, I just went with the quick and easy route.

Any of these would work for me, some better then others, but since I don't have any mods planned right now, please don't make my schedule a priority.
