Why do the powers to be keep letting them gouge us? No shortage anywhere.

You guys have it easy, $4.29 for premium over here in Bakersfield. Like TooCool5 said, there's no shortages of gas so why the shaft at the pump? It seems like the media is the one that always "hypes" it all up and the prices rise until they get to the point where people cut back altogether on their driving then the prices drop back down...don't know about you guys but I'm thinking of buying a tank to fill with gas and put it on the side of the house to save me from the outlandish price hikes!

I thought Camaro owners didn't give a crap about gas prices.I guess you are one of few to be concerned. Last time I mentioned that I drive a hybrid as my daily driver I almost got stoned to death. Lol

No one's really complaining about the prices or thinking of not driving. Just pointing out some facts about prices today.

Hmm...that's not how I interpreted OP's comment. But yeah, I agree it is ridiculously expensive for no reason.

i am getting it in DeLand for 3.85 this week last week it was 3.79 the only place around where I live under $4.00 closer to home in New Smyrna it's 4.11. But actually I find when I go faster I get better gas mileage so it's the around town I am going to try and avoid. Lucky for me I do mostly highway everyday.
