When you get that Z you'll have to come down for one of these. Looks like our next track rental will be in October. We did have one guy come from Austin on this one

Thanks I'll have to check it out again

Unrelated question - how did you mount the go pro back where you had it behind the drivers seat? I'd love a video like that at the strip in mine

I put one of the flat sticky mounts at the top of the rear window and then snap the GoPro in and out.

One of my main reasons for doing this is I can keep it plugged up all the time so when the battery goes dead your video doesn't stop. However, there is a MAJOR problem with that. The GoPro uses up the full battery charge before it uses the wired source so when you turn the car off and the battery is dead the GoPro shuts off as well (unless you keep the key turned to on). Then the next time you fire back up for a run there's not enough power to even turn the damn thing on so you have to charge the battery long enough for power on.

I missed what would have been the best video ever because it wouldn't turn on. I went off track doing 360's in both directions and grass flying in the windows. No video. GoPro fails me every time.

Wow! That sucks that you missed the video but also looks like it might have been a lucky escape with the car! Bet you had your heart in your mouth for that ride!!

Thanks for the pointer on where/how to mount though - I'm gonna try that next time I'm out

Have no choice now. Not going to chance messing up a motor due to cats.

Why did you leave the cats on in the first place? Especially at the power level you're at? Guess they decided they wanted off.
