Let's talk lifters

Been doing some researching on lifters. What is the consensus around here with the LS forced induction community on lifters? What's a good lifter for the blown LS3?

Been doing some reading and the LS7 and CTSV lifters come up a lot. Then Comp and Johnson. Then you get into the expensive linked lifters. From what I've read so far...seems that the Johnson slow leakdown lifters are some quality pieces (part #2110). Called BTR today and they recommended them. Or the Comp drop ins.

What's a good robust lifter for a 600-700 hp range LS3?

Its kind of hit or miss. LS3=LS7 lifters. I run stock ls7 lifters in my car, zero issues. Johnson and others were not out at the time, and the 3 high end shops I spoke to all recommended stock lifters.

Morels are nice but $700+. The .750" wheel is a nice upgrade, but you pay for it. If I had to do lifters today, I would do the Johnson ones.

Can you tell which Morel part # you have? So many options here. Just want to make sure I research the right ones.

Which ones? I may get some Johnson's but they have axle oiling, short travel or normal.

I had my share of lifter failures, went with Morel linkbar but took it a step further with solids.

Most of our builds get LS7 lifters. Some spin past 7500rpm and over 1000hp.
We use morel link bars with blocks that don't except lifter trays but even those I'd rather run ls7 if I could. Seen more aftermarket failures than ls7.
