Opinion on tires
After my run flats go bald, I'm going to be looking at some new tires. I'm going to put:
Front Nitto 555 G2 245/45/20 http://www.ebay.com/itm/361474150260 now for the rear I'b debating between 3 options: Nitto 555 G2 275/40/20 http://www.ebay.com/itm/361474149714 Nitto 555R 275/40/20 http://www.ebay.com/itm/361474149714 MT ET S/S 275/40/20 http://www.ebay.com/itm/131860371268 I only drive my camaro in the summer, in nice weather and in rain, 8-10K miles a summer, to and from work, drag strip from time to time. What rear tires should I end up choosing?

I loved my Nitto 555's but they were not the G2. I had them on my GTO.

Why does your name seem familiar, were you on some v6 Camaro forum?

I'd stick with the same tire all around. Get the g2.

I have had the G2s on the rear for awhile now. They're not the "stickiest" tire, but perform very well for a street tire all things considered IMHO. I like them, and their price, well enough to chose to stick with them for the new wheels when they come in.

Nice, I'h hoping to maybe buy another pair of rear rims and put drag radials on them for going to and from the race track

I can put up to a 285 drag radial on the back. I think that would be plenty of tire for what I'm running.

I want anything that's better than stock lol. I was debating between a street tire with better traction than the stock tire and more tread life than a drag radial, or a drag radial with better traction but worse tread life of a street tire. I'm debating because I do a lot of normal driving with going to the track on some weekends. I just don't want to pay $700ish for drag radials and them not last me a summer lol

I just put on continental extremecontact DW summer. love them so far. ride quality is much improved and dry/wet traction also seems better to *me* over the stock run-craps.
