I got my car back, the clutch feels stiffer and more positive as it engages. I want to break it in for awhile before I attempt any aggressive starts. Have some popcorn

Kudos to GM for recognizing and addressing the problem, they spared no parts that were in question. I earlier posted they would buff out the flywheel free of residue. The tech saw hints of blue and it took a day longer but the flywheel was replaced too. My service dept is top notch as well as the dealership. Their motto is "It's a great day at Herndon Chevrolet" I believe it is.

Yes, the newly redesigned pressure plate/ clutch kit, GM part # 24255748, should take care of the issue.

I need this TSB too to give to service. Clutch pedal gettin stuck halfway happened to me last week. I popped clutch after down shifting on the highway to accelerate and like 2 second later the clutch pedal popped up and hit my foot. I was like WTF. then relized the clutch pedal must of never came all the way up.
I would think its a brake master cylinder problem but if pressure plate is already proved I guess its that. PLEASE give info I need before my supercharger goes on

Yes please post the tsb! The part number helps alot tho! I talked to them I'm bringin mine to the dealer also either Monday or Tuesday at the latest! I'm soo Ready to fix this shit!!!! I'm 13th on the bolt on Fast List and that's with the clutch sticking but the clutch pedal spring popped it out and saved me from ruinin the run!
How long is the true break in normally for a new clutch? I'm like u I want to make sure it goes thru it's heat cycles or whatever and fully breaks in when I get my new stuff! Once I try another trip to the track I'm puttin my headers, trashing these stock tires for Drag radials hopefully get top 4.

The clutch disc isn't covered per say, but if something else causes it to fail (slave, pressure plate, etc.) then they will replace it.

There is no TSB at this time, GM is fully aware of the clutch issue and your dealer is the best way to get the ball rolling if your having a problem. But don't wait around, the clutch plates they pulled out of mine were still as thick as a new ones, which is more of an indication of non intentional abuse.
