GEN5DIY reprogrammed the radio to add the grid lines, I just had to take it out and send it to them (just the radio box, not the screen or anything else). Since the car is stored for winter it was no big deal.

Since they can reprogram there's lots of other cool stuff they can do. They have a kit to add a front camera and change the functionality so you can view front or rear cameras any time you want, wiring harnesses to add or change functionality, lots of other cool stuff.

I also inquired about this for my '13. IIRC, GM contracted with a different company for 2015MY to provide the software. This included the lines. Therefore it could not be retrofitted to the '13 and 14's as that was different software. An upgrade to add lines was eventually added by either the software company or someone who paid them for licensing, but GM undoubtedly was too cheap to pay for the licensing for that. But Gen5DIY obviously did, or at least hopefully they did. Or I could be completely full of crap. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Definitely a good feature. I could never back those bitches up straight, lol.

I'll probably sign us up for a time on both days just in case it's a freak 60-70 sunny weekend. Anything less doubt I'll go. Iffy if car will be out of storage by then. As far as spring club run, guess if we started now we might get the minimum of 10 cars for discounted tickets by about August, lol.

I get though, been hard to get a good group together and stay committed. Maybe we can get a list going and give it a try - it's just a few keystrokes. I'd be down, and I bet we get Jay and Rob, MikeSS, Vin... dang, that is a pretty poor representation...

I'm in for everything unless there's some huge conflict - like last year when my son got married.

I'd probably go just to be able to meet everyone in the group and talk cars.
I run my car on track a couple times a year with a car club, that's "balls to the wall" as fast as you want, so the parade laps are pretty boring now but like I said it'd be cool to meet everyone.

Pretty much why we do this. More fun than meeting at a car show, but some of us do that, too.

I'll start a list in a couple of weeks for both opening weekend and a possible May run. Date for May run would depend on track schedule, which they probably don't have complete yet.
