About 17 months ago I done the conversion from MyLink without Navigation to with Navigation. I purchased the same setup from another member, had it updated and away I went. This is without question a "very nice deal" for someone, I believe I paid $475.00 for a clean setup. Jarod at Gen5 DIY (928-505-1383) 2440 N. Kiowa Blvd, Suite 101, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 is the man that reprogrammed my setup. Fantastic individual.... with the reprogramming he also removes the motion lock, adds the backup lines, adds the latest maps and it comes with the antenna that goes under the dash.

OK, that out of the way, looking at my notes I spoke with Jarod on April 11, 2017 and the cost was $359.00 for the reprograming, updating the maps, disabling the "motion" restriction, add the reverse lines, and yes you would have to send the head to him, not the screen. Another option would be to purchase a head unit from Jarod, one that he would do all the above work on and ship it to you. Purchasing this one and shipping it to him would be more cost effective. Don't quote me but I believe he gets about $850.00 for one of his shipped to you. Either way it's pricey but I really like the factory look as well as having navigation.

You can look around all you want but I don't believe you will find a nicer unit for this price! A new faceplate alone is $650.00! I am surprised this is still here!
