The 12 bolt is a good sign it's a Z. But that's whats nice about 69s it's on the cowl tag.

Not many of us are lucky enough to find the build sheet. I tore mine apart looking for it but no luck for me.

They fit the 1st gens perfectly.

You'd think they would go equally well on 5th gens since they look so much like the 60s Camaros, but not so much. I think it has something to do with wheel size.

You may already be aware, but I recall reading that the old rally wheels would not work with certain, newer disc brake setups - if your car has disc brakes. I know there are some brake companies (maybe Willwood or Baer) that make a disc brake setup that is specifically designed to work with the OEM rally wheels. Regardless, your car looks awesome!

I am glad you told me that. Someone has put disc brakes on the rear and they are slotted to so I will check into that. I guess I could not get lucky enough that the car was one of the ones that came with rear disc brakes. It probably did not because I do not have that kind of luck!

Nice...

I ordered a complete set of rally wheels from a place in California. I got the 8 inch corvette wheels for the rear and a pair of 7 inch for the front. They came with new trim rings and derby caps with free shipping for a total of 379.00. I looked on fleebay and several other places and these were the best deal I could find. Now for tires!

I thought I would update on this car. I ordered the wheels and when they got here of course they were wrong. I had to send those back and had to wait a month to get the right ones, but I have them. I have ordered tires and Jegs has screwed those up now twice and I am waiting on those. I had to put new rear leaf springs on and I went ahead and added sub frame connectors and all new bushings on the springs and hangers. As soon as I get it rolling again I will add the pics with the rally wheels and tires. I am hoping next week sometime as Jegs said it would be a week before tires are here.
