Catch can AND oil separator on a 1le

All right so I installed a catch can between my air oil separator and the intake. It hasn't been collecting a single thing. I learned recently there is a second crankcase vent to the left of the throttle body and it jumps over and feeds in to the right side basically right into the throttle body.
I think I'm going to throw the catch can between the throttle body and the crankcase and then just let my air oil separator vent to the intake plumbing.
Is anybody had any done this set up? It looks like most catch can setups just sit between one or the other. Now that I'm looking at my setup having a catch can after the air oil separator does seem silly.

Are you talking about putting a catch can between the stock, clean side separator, that runs to the intake tube? There is a little “U” shaped hose that runs from the passenger side, behind the throttle body, to the Valley cover port. You want to remove that hose, and install your catch can between that. If you are talking about the stock one, yeah you probably won’t catch much.

Stock is “clean” side and really only “measurable” (which I say loosely) on the track. However; it isn’t designed to collect and be emptied out. You will certainly get the opportunity to empty a catch can on the “dirty” side, though.
