noob question on CAI and T/Cing
Okay so I understand that Superchargers and Turbochargers compress the air going into the engine for better combustion. I understand the (very) basics...
And I've heard people ask if kits like New Era OTR and Vararam will work with Superchargers. With generally affirmative answers. But will a CAI system be compatible with a Turbocharger, specifically one like STS's turbos? I'm not clear on where "in the system" a Turbocharger actually compresses the air. Thanks a bunch folks!

no. a CAI will not work with an STS system. the STS system mounts the turbos in the rear of the car. the air compression occurs within the turbo/supercharger itself.
the "ram air" CAI's like NEP and Vararam might work with the maggie s/c as the intake is on the front, but with a turbo (front or rear mount) system, a CAI wont be used.
