Yep, Ol Junkie is loading the big gun. Truth be told I dont know how any of us are going to get all of this power to hook up. I think it will be a drivers race, Junkie sounds like he has been playing at this a long time. Probably dont have mush of a chance myself.......But what a hell of a ride it will be!! I havent hit the strip since my early twenties, I need a lot of pratice. I can still shift with the best of them though, just need to get used to this car, if it ever gets done that is. Lpe is so busy, going on the ninth week now and my engine is not even back in the car, much less all the extra goodies I have thrown on this thing. Maybe by the end of the month they will get her done (fingers crossed).

Yes, it's a problem putting the power down with the stock rubber. Lots of fun trying, though. Took the red devil out for a spin to watch the autocross guy's run today.. Never seen such a big bunch of car guy's chins so low.. I needed a bucket to catch all the drool. They were in shock that I had this much stuff done to it already. I spoke with a few of the older guys I ran with when I last raced with them 5 years ago.. it was just like it was yesterday. They were excited to see that i was coming back. Car was a big hit.. The guys that are in my class next year were kinda frowning.. One mentioned that it's time for the BIG turbo and new wings for downforce.. he's driving a nissan 240SX. I will be in Street Modified.. where almost anything goes... all I can say is.. BRING IT ON! GET READY TO RUMBLE... I love the smell of racing fuel early in the morning... |

Yup.. tweak here.. new part there.. eventually you will get used to it and will settle in to controlling the new found power. just a matter of seat time. That, and some big W I D E Tires to help grip the pavement. April will be interesting as most of us northerners won't have had any seat time all winter until the camaro5 event.. by April my car's transformation will most likely be complete. |

Better save some of that cash for GA now. There will be a few down here want to try you all. Brand name doesn't buy you a win.
