E85 seems to be the best bang for your buck so far. Check out EFIs posts. They have a really well made kit and tim can get you an email tune.

E85, tune, I like the MSD, ported TB (free or you can have a pro do it), green filter and a slot cut in the stock box... after that um MSD or ported stock, long tube, offroad pipe, CAI, full exhuast, in that order for bang for dollar. Of course lots of people will say for the real muscle car effect full exhaust is first..

My best mod was the hurst pistol grip shifter, it is the best thing in my like outside my hot... err... extremely hot wife.

E85 is 15% gasoline/85% ethanol. Vehicles you see labeled as Flex Fuel can run this fuel. Depending on your location you may find it at your local gas pumps. Here in NC you will see it at a lot of the Sheetz gas stations.

To be able to utilize regular gas (E10) and E85 or any blend in between you need to install a Flex Fuel sensor and program the ECM to utilize it. On the LT1 this is one of the best bang for the buck modifications you can do.

GM doesn't deal with mods very well as it pertains to warranty. Assume it is pay to play. If it's your daily driver and you can't afford to fix it on your own don't risk it. That may sound harsh but it is realistic. The days of leveraging ignorance are long gone.

depending on your pockets (how deep) a blower and call it a day. Headers exhaust cai are all ok but for the best bang without touching anything else, Toss on a blower and tune and be done. I'm doing blower, cam, headers, clutch, heads, exhaust because I'm extreme and mine is my daily driver. I want loud and as fast as I can get on stock bottom block and the ability to kick C7Z's, gtr's, vipers, ctsv's, gt500's, as#es in my 6gss.

Its funny as Chevy offers flex fuel on some of its other vehicles, too bad not on Camaros and Vettes.

I do agree a blower is the best bang for buck, should be out the door around 8k, but most cannot or will not purchase it.
