Upgraded subwoofer..factory location or stealth box?
I am looking to upgrade my factory subwoofer, Im trying to decide if I should just get a shallow sub for the factory location or get the stealth box from ********. I want the bass to be loud, but Ive heard of alot of rattling issues with the convertibles and camaros so not too loud that it rattles everything. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a 10" Alpine Type R in the factory location. It works nicely. You can kill some of the rattle by purchasing some polyfil to stuff in the area behind the sub as well as the whole seat area. It will take about 5 1lb bags to fill the whole thing. This not only reduced my rattle quite a bit but seamed to make the bass tighter.
I am using a Alpine MRX-V70 amp and it gets plenty loud for me. |

No, not the center speaker in dash. He has an convertible. There is a factory subwoofer behind the backseats
