I work at a professional sports arena and park in the back of the building, very last row against the curb. No one ventures all the way to the back of the lot.
On event nights (like tonight), I park in the same spot, but my admin will park on my other side to block my door from dings - isn't he nice?? |

People here are respectful. I park in any empty space as long as is isn't crowded with a rusty old truck. I don't like to announce the power or mods I have visually or rub it in to the others. If it gets dented, its just a car. I'm not saving mine for value some day. Nasty cam, twin turbos coming real soon, if I blow it up I'll build it better.
Drive it like it you stole it. |

Being handicapped, I park in those spots. Its so nice to have room and not worry about door dings. Old people are the worst, they will slam a car door into your ride in a minute. That and unfortunately, most people in the handicapped spots dont need them. It is usually some obese woman that practically runs into get a burger. It makes me so pissed.

This is how I normally park, out of the way from anyone else. Sometimes though I have the other camaro from the apartment park next to me. Majority of the time its just me at the front office/permit border

Lazy people park close to the building. Lazy people don't care about your stuff. I park in the boonies and get my daily exercise.

I park the extra 75' from others, but it's like a magnet and someone always parks next to me... I guess they feel I'm a safe bet not to ding them.
Would also hate to get a ding right in the middle of the Indy decal... That would suck... |

My take... I will take the next spot right beside a nice car. Preferably the drivers side. He will be careful opening his door, the guy to my left is "probably" alone and will not open his passenger side door.. (I play the percentages).. The only time I park on the passenger side of a nice car is if there is a spot an island on the passenger side of the empty spot. When you leave a spot between you and that nice car, that is a spot someone will park this. And completely screw up both your days.

Don't drive it to work that often but when I do I park on the end in front where no one can pull behind or to the right of me. It's kind of far from the door so usually the fat asses won't park that far away anyway. The only other car in the lot that doesn't resemble a rental is the CEO's Audi R8, which he parks in the striped zone between 2 handicapped spots because he can.
