I have a Roto-Fab on my ZL1 and have approx 8600 miles on it with ZERO PROBLEMS! The car should have been this way stock. Look at the upcoming Z/28, it works.

I should finish installing mine today and test it out.
Hasn't anyone looked in their throttle body at the rotor lobes when doing this install? I have been hesitating to installed due to the metal to metal contact wear, but sounds like it is normal.

Don't worry too much. It has been reported as normal. You have a warranty right? The factory is covering the components fully.

Got mine and love it. I actually got mine for the sound difference, it's awesome. The horsepower increase that comes with it is and added bonus as far as I'm concerned. I agree the car should've come with it.

The Roto-Fab is a great intake system for the ZL1 and currently the best on the market IMO. We have a pretty great deal going right now and it only gets better if you throw in the Big Gulp and/or the W/W relocation kit! Feel free to call, PM or email me with any questions you may have, or for more details. Have a great weekend everyone!

Best regards,

Tyler

Thanks for feedback. Just don't want them to say my RotoFab caused the issue.

Five months with the Roto Fab intake on my Z and it is a must do mod.
It is well sculpted inside for airflow and the filter appears to have twice the square inches from stock.
No issues regarding cel or drivability.
Great blower sound and power.

Get it, no problem to install, I didn't get CEL's until the headers went on, and they don't bother me, I'll do pulleys and a tune in a few months, that will take care of that.
