Want black stripe at 3400, too late..??

According to my saleswoman I am at 3400.
I ordered a 2SS RS 6-speed, Inferno Orange with sunroof.
After careful and long thought, I believe the black stripe on the hood and
trunk lid looks awsome...!!! Its a Camaro thing.

I emailed saleswoman hoping my decision is not too late, no reply yet.
Am I too late, or can this be done at dealership......????

Yes, you are too late. 3400 is broadcast, so they are putting your specifics together now.
Unless you had somone on the inside, your gonna have to have them put on after. I could be wrong, won't be the first time, but I do believe it is too late.

Yeah, painted is the best way to go. More durable, last longer.

Yeah, don't worry about it. There are tons of aftermarket that options to get it done and it may turn out better then factory.

No, the stripes are put on at a nearby factory in Canada now. I am sure that the OP's dealer could put them on after the car gets here.

I am going to have mine painted on. I want balck stripes and IMHO they look bad unless they are clear coated over. I don't like the flat black look.

I wasn't too sure about the stripes when I ordered, but I decided to go with them from the factory. I was going to order the car without them to see how it looked first, and then have the dealer put them on. But after talking with the dealer, they said there was an extra $375 fee for them putting them on after. Not sure if that is just how the dealership I ordered from is but I'd find out by asking your dealer. My understanding is that all dealerships DON'T put them on. My dealer told me they had to send a few people away to GM to get trained to put them on, that is why the extra money. I'm not to sure they just bs'd me because I got the car for dirt cheap, but that's the knowledge I have on the subject.
