But cooler weather is coming in the next couple of weeks so I plan on going over. I want to see if the car will run the low 11's like he said it would, just need to get a good 60ft time he said. The car is really quick and she gets it done really fast. She ran 12.68 with just the CAI, ported TB, LT's exhaust and tune at 365rwhp, and now I'm at 460rwhp with the cam and supporting mods. We'll see. And that 12.68 was on street tires.
I feel ya with that heat and humidity. I am down in St Lucie county, are you north or south of Orlando? Weather is supposed to get down to the 60's next week. I am thinking about trying my new set up at PBIR to see what it does.

Hey there, I am 65 miles SE of Orlando on the east coast. Yea the shop that did my build is down there, Lashway Motorsports, Erik and his team did a great job for me! They just had a track rental day at PBIR and I was going to try to go, but just couldn't see 250 bucks to run all day, plus it was hot and didn't want to go. Had 2 car shows that weekend.

I have been subscribed to hearing about the LOD intake since they first showed it and waited all through the Vararam debacle with their never made curved long runner they never made they supposedly had trouble getting a trade mark /patent for...while they could make the ones for COPO's etc.....

Said at one time to make them ls7 head capable maybe for the LOD alterations, good to see they are making different alterations for the design as they may be one of the only new things for real besides crappy no design sheet metal types that are devoid of real research much out there for cheap and do make it hard with the firewall...…..

As always talk is cheap...… GOOD LUCK and if nothing else it builds mass HP and looks great doing it....and the engine is more healthy for it making its torque that moves you.

And you have to take into account the corrections for the weather when it comes to ET... And heat sucks power big time and limits the engine big time ….. Give me colder denser air anytime......

So this is fairly accurate with some modified in the mix and if copied from the site things don't align right...... But has always been kind of the standard site for good times and matches what with fairly good air and altitude the Camaro should perform too...…. Heat kills...…….

Well guys, back to what this thread was supposed to be all about, the LOD Speedworks X1 intake, I made my purchase and just have to wait til they get one in the raw aluminum finish, unpainted. I plan on having it paint matched to my RJT car color, my paint guy does really great work and has painted a couple whipple's and Maggies and they look great. Sooooo just gotta wait now, patiently. And that's going to be tough. lol. Stay tuned, more to come. Thanks LOD !!

Congrats!!! That is going to be a nice looking intake. I’d like to see the lod speedworks highlighted with an alternate color you have working in the scheme. I got a red one coming I’m debating to let it show through the hood and seal it up or just build a cowl over it...... but the red with my jet stream blue is screaming for 2 white pin stripes to make it patriotic. I’ll have to see how this all plays out myself. 11/6 is coming up quick!

The intake sitting on top of your engine in whatever you own, Camaro or Vette would look intimidating as H311!!!!! LOL!!!!

Thanks! Yea I think it is going to look nice too. It is going to be RJT, the main body, and the lettering is going to be silver ice metallic to go with the polished billet items I have and mirrored stainless. The runners are also going to be silver ice metallic as well, or gloss black. Maybe the entire intake just RJT except the lettering, silver ice. Got plenty of time to think about what I want.

Surprised I haven't seen one of these in a boosted application yet. I met with Raf last year, great guy, and seriously thought about pulling the trigger. But I ended up spending my annual mod budget on upgrading my fuel system and suspension.

Not sure I can afford much more gains on my TT SBE before I blowing it up LOL!. But once I pull the trigger to build my iron 427 I will definitely put one of these on it.

Wondering if there's an advantage going with cathedral ports over the square ports heads?

OH YEA !! lol, that's another reason I bought it, the WOW factor, no body around here has anything like it and most folks are afraid to mod their Camaros! My car gets a lot of attention at the shows as it is, so this intake will really make them ask, is that stock ?

lol yes sir!! Can't wait to get this baby on my engine !! Every time I stop somewhere people come over and ask about the car, the sound of the Outlaw exhaust and the big ass cam I'm running and just the awesome way it looks! Then I pop the hood because they ask about the engine, they flip out when they see it and all the custom stuff! Crazy. Just wait til I have the intake on there, they will really freak out! It's just what they do when the see something awesome! And nobody has one yet..
