Yes sir! I am on the top of the list. I just havent decided if I'm going to get the vinyl stripes or if I'm going to get them painted. I've been kicking around the idea of having them painted Hugger Orange instead of IOM.

To me it depends on what you are going for. It sounds as though you're looking go somewhat for the classic First Gen look. To me....that means Hugger Orange and have them widend and extended down to the front of the nose. I would also have them painted over the rear spoiler as well.

Of course this is the beauty of vinyl....they can always be removed if you want.

I would also plan on putting the SLP SS in place of the front bow-tie and probably some SS emblems for the front fenders. I get as many compliments on the SS in the grill as I do the stripes.

Just my opinion though.....

Edit: If you do get them painted...have them paint your engine cover at the same time. It would proably look good in Hugger Orange with White lettering.

If I know Eric he will probably install the Heritage grille some SS badges Orange Stripes , Orange interior and a 6speed manual

In my opinion I love the Hugger orange Idea however if you go with the IOM interior remember they are both different colors and you may want your interior to match your stripes.

Or I would.

I would compare them both first.

Hey Eric get with your vinyl guy and see if he has a piece of Vinyl in the color of hugger orange and compare it to the interior.

As stated earlier, depends on what interior you go with. Personally, I'm not a fan of the IOM interior, so of course my suggestion would be go Hugger. Classic look = win!
