Let's look at it this way, you want to spend $55+K on a car that's going to blend in with a Cruze, Sonic or Volt. Yes ..... a true fail!

The same could be said for a RJT ZL1 if GM would've held onto that color...you'd be blending in with Buicks, GMC's, Malibus, and Trailblazers...not quite sure what the point of that argument is anyway . Pretty much any color you get the ZL1 in would "blend in" with other cars. If I get a black ZL1, does it blend in with Civics, Fiestas, and Priuses? And there's more to the car than just the paint that differentiates it from a Cruze, Sonic or Volt...am I wrong in thinking this?

In these pictures there are 3 different colors. Looking at the front bumper the Crystal Red Tintcoat Corvette is in the center. The Red Jewel Tintcoat Camaro is on the right and the Victory Red Camaro is on the left.

I have a neighbor 4 houses down from me who I had never spoken to. He owns a CRT Z06, when I brought my RJT Camaro home he was the first person standing in my driveway. We put the 2 cars side by side and he said mine blew his away.

If you’re into bright colors you will like the CRT better but a person who likes bright colors would never buy either one. If you’re into dark red, burgundy or even a black base candy apple red then you will like and buy the RJT hands down.

RJT pops and has such a rich look to it when it is polished and sitting in the sun, and yes it does give you a bigger contrast I beleive in the dark(more maroon wineish), then you can have it in the sun(more reddish candy mettalic)looking, I myself like having the darker and then at times candywine look. Where as red kinda looks like RED all the time if you know what I mean.

...and I guess it would blend with a ZR1 and a Z06 too... just like CGM does...

All colors are nice as long as it's a Camaro.

w/o a color corrected monitor and color corrected image, I can't tell the difference.

I guess I'll have to go over to the dealership instead of going to some 1st graders birthday party. haha

I guess RJT must be a common color down there. Drove around for the past few days and didn't see any other GM product painted RJT. Agree that there is more than paint that differentiates a vehicle, but you certainly notice a yellow or SNG car cruizing down the road towards you versus black or gray.

I personally like the darker Red Jewel over Crystal Red.
