Need air bag help ASAP.

I have a 2014 camaro ss. I ordered new racing seats and well they don't have air bags in them. How do I keep the air bag light off when I remove my factory seats?
If I need to order something where can I get it?
If I can jump wires with a resistor what size/type of resistor and what wires? Pictures would be great

I dont think the car will even start when those wire harnesses are unplugged, so you'll need to jump them somehow.

the side seat airbag firing circuits are 2 wires. to turn off the light you need to bridge these wires with a 2 ohm resistor. DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

That's not true, at least on my 2015 Camaro SS. There will just be a light on the dash and warning message.

Just a heads up on switching up the seats. I read on another thread that the passenger side airbag is activated when the sensor inside the seat bottom is activated, usually when someone sits on it (I know that's how it is on my Silverado, not 100% sure on the camaro). If you jump the airbag sensor on the passenger side, that airbag is always going to be off so if you have a passenger and you get in an accident, the airbag on the passenger side will never deploy. Just another thing to think about. If your just replacing the driver's seat then no issues there.

I don't care about the passenger air bag. I just want the light and messages off.

In that case, you're good to go with the driver's side. What seats did you buy? Make sure to post some pics when you have them installed.

The problem you'll have if you don't remove the fault, is none of the air bags will go off. So if you drive on the street, not a good idea. I was unlucky enough to pop my side curtains a few years ago. It is surprising how little information there is on this topic. I don't know if people just don't know, or not willing to share because of liability. Google for air bag simulators. Somebody made a device to fool the SIR/SDM in thinking the air bags were still in place. I've yet to hear whether that worked on the 5thG Camaro though.
