Was just looking around at other cai's and came across one for the G8 GT. Looks like the airbox for the G8 series and the Camaro are in the same places. Even looks like the tubing is the same. Anyone else noticed it or is it just me...

I've noticed that too. Perhaps they will share some interchangability.

Yeah I was hoping that myself. Glad im not the only one who was looking at that. Ive found a few that look good (better than the GMPP one) and it was for the G8 GT.

I'll admit I'm not a fan of the upper air cleaner housing but can see that it would protect the engine better from water than exposed element filters. Still, for that amount that it is, I'd prefer a little more out of it. But hey, if someone doesn't like it, the aftermarket is where it's at

Yeah right now im torn between just getting the damn thing or buying aftermarket when they are released. I think the GMPP one looks great but dont know how much you actually get from it. Ahh the decisions.
