Even if I can't get there, I'll be able to hear him whining as I live pretty close to the track

I"ll have to try again another weekend, could not get the car to launch right keep getting a bog. The Mustang never showed up after all of his talking. I can say my MPH on the runs were up about 2.5 MPH in the 1/4 over before the tuning started. Track was super sticky because of Pro-Mods running and I didn't change my rear tire pressures because my tire pump broke. I'm leaning toward tire hooking toooo much and causing the bog. To be continued and I'm buying a new pump today!!!

I've had good luck with the "better" Harbor Freight air pumps, which I use when I go four wheeling (big tires; take 'em down to around 12 psi then when day is done, back to 35).

For what it's worth.

Well it sucks that I've missed this thread, but I think I'm jumping in just in time?! lol

So you said above that you can't give us any numbers....so do you mean you won't give us HP/TQ or AFR numbers?? Are you waiting until you feel you have the all motor tune nailed down or what?

Looking forward to hearing more about your passes at the 1/4 mile. Being up 2.5 mph sounds pretty dang good to me especially after bogging. Are you going to give us your times at the 1/4 track anytime soon? Don't tease us lol.

When I get it closer to being done I'll give some numbers. I have not been back on the dyno yet either.

Well got on the dyno Saturday, temps were higher than before ( when Trifecta tune was in ) and barometer pretty close, humidty about the same. The printer was not working so no dyno sheet this session, sorry. The top Hp and torque numbers were also most the same, BUT the low and mid-range on the FSP ( Matt ) tuning came on higher and quicker than the Trifecta tune. So the low end torque & horsepower numbers were the differences right now. Remember we were in hotter air too!!! Matt took the time on a Saturday while I was at the dyno to send me updated tunes within a minute or two after I sent him the dyno pull results after each run. Hear what I'm saying about this folks. I'm at another tuning shop and Matt is sending me updated files while I'm strapped on the dyno. Thanks also to Tim @ TandT Performance for letting me sit on your dyno about 1.5 hours total while doing the remote updates with Matt. I'm in Maryland and Matt in Florida so for now this is the best we can do to get done live. So it breaks down max HP = 268.?? TQ = 248.?? So HP was down about 3hp but torque was up at 7 Ft Lbs. A/F was very steady in the 12.5 - 12.9 range. So that's the latests I'll be doing some track runs on Monday Sept 2 at MIR and we will see how it goes. My car is very responsive, gas mileage is still around 27 - 28 MPG when cruising at 65 mph. I am very pleased with the results so far. Remember we are not done yet, great remote tuning takes time and I'm using up a lot of Matt's time.

On another note only did one pull on the nitrous, I need to lean it out a bit but got 60HP+ at the rear wheels with the A/F in the 10.6 - 11.0 range this was the first pull on the dyno with no prior logging done. I had put a fuel jet in it .004 bigger than called for to play it safe for a first pull. I did not fine tune the nitrous yet. I did not want to heat up the engine to much after already doing some all motor dyno pulls earlier. So there is MORE power on the spray yet to come!!!

Perfect etmx!!! Yes that AFR is good especially on the dyno, over the road it may lean out just a tenth or two which is fine. Let's see some track runs next, and we'll continue to fine tune this in for the nitrous!

Big thanks to Tim @ T&T also for providing the dyno time.

Well, it looks like the Maryland weather is going to give me a chance this Friday night to try the new tuning out. It is supposed to be a high of 72, so that will be a good beginning test session. I am SOOOOOO ready to get some track time in decent air, not great air but this will do for now.

We are not done tuning just yet but we are moving forward and this Friday should be interesting on how everything works to this point. Some data logging this weekend should help out on the next tuning stage we are entering.

Sweet! Pressure is on, I'm going to Matt today for some dyno tuning. Not sure what to expect with so much humidity and high temp.
